On April 26, 2012, Café-Tasse S.A. voluntarily recalled its 1.58 oz. Café-Tasse Noir (Dark) Belgian chocolate bar with best before date of “15 SEPT 2013”. This product was recalled because it may contain undeclared traces of milk, which could cause allergy reactions, even life-threatening allergic reactions, to those with severe sensitivities to milk products.
This product was distributed and sold in retail stores in VA, MA, WA and CA from January 2012 through mid-April 2012. Product is identified as 1.58 oz. (45 gr.) bar with bar code of 54000219 505504 and expiration date of 15-September 2013. It does not affect any other Café-Tasse chocolate bars or sizes. No illnesses have been reported to date.
